Team Members


Seema Arora


Seema Arora pioneered the creation of services on Environment and Sustainable Development within CII. Her journey with CII began with engaging Indian Industry towards the run up to the Earth Summit in 1992. Apart from the CII Foundation, Seema Arora is currently heading the CSR, Special Ablities, Indian Women Network, Sports, Environment and Sustainable Development initiatives within CII. Seema Arora is a member of the Stakeholder Council of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), World Economic Forum Global Agenda Council on Governance for Sustainability, external review panel for Sustainability Reporting for several global companies, and Polaris Committee of FBN (Family Business Network) International. She is a Bachelor’s in Engineering from Delhi University.


K Jawahar

Lead – Disaster Relief and Rehabilitation

Mr. K. Jawahar is responsible for CII’s work in the areas of CSR, Women Empowerment, Disaster management, Industry NGO interface, Rural Development, Indian Wild Life Business Council, CII Foundation etc.

K. Jawahar has been with CII since 2006 and has been involved with CII’s work in the development space.

Mr. Jawaharlal did his graduation in Science from National College, Basavangudi, Bangalore and holds a masters and MPhil in Sociology from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.


Kuldeep Sengar

Program Manager -Climate Change Resilience

Kuldeep is part of the project team in CII Foundation and works mainly on the execution of CSR projects in coordination with government departments, implementing partners and other relevant stakeholders. Kuldeep has on the ground experience of water & sanitation field in his previous work experience with SEWA Foundation. Kuldeep is Post graduate in Economics from Symbiosis School of Economics, Pune and Bachelors from University of Delhi.


Chandrakant Pradhan

Lead-Climate Change Resilience

Chandrakant has over fourteen years of project management and research experience in the areas of social development and environment. He joins us from the Aga Khan Foundation, India, where he was the livelihoods sector lead. Previously, he has worked with PRADAN; IFMR, Chennai; and UNEP, Geneva. He has experience of designing and executing large community development projects in areas of sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, wasteland rehabilitation, nonfarm livelihoods and financial inclusion. Chandrakant has completed M.A. in International Development Policy from Duke University, Durham, USA and B.Sc. in Agriculture from Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology, Bhubaneshwar. He has also attended short academic courses at Brandeis University, Waltham, USA (on ecology) and Duke Geneva Programme (on Global Policy and Governance – Environment Track). He was a recipient of the Ford Foundation International Scholarship.

Shivani Kumar

Lead- Gender and ECE

Shivani Kumar is a Development design, implementation and advocacy professional with over 12 years of experience in NGOs, International organizations, corporates and politics. She began her career as part of Child in Need Institute where she worked on adoption of community health workers in Jharkhand. She continued to work on issues of reproductive health with Constella Futures. She explored the interplay of development and politics through her work with a member of Parliament in Haryana and then continued on with JSW Foundation. Shivani holds a MA in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School, USA, a Masters in social work from Tata Institute of Social Sciences and a BA (Hons) in History from St Stephen’s College.


Gauri Mazumdar

Lead- Finance

Gauri is an integral part of the finance department of CII Foundation. She joins us from Public Health Foundation Of India with 8 years of experience in financial management. She has completed her MBA in Finance from Symbiosis Pune and B.Com from Kamla Nehru College.


Mansa Madhusudan

Communications Associate

Mansa’s experience as an Editor aids her in handling communications, social media, and graphics for CII Foundation. She is a National Level Debater and a proficient writer. She is a graduate in Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology from Mount Carmel College, Bengaluru. Mansa has previously worked with Evolvingminds as a Content Development Intern and volunteered to teach English at U&I.


Sukriti Tolani

Program Manager-Gender

Sukriti is a part of the women empowerment team with the CII Foundation. Having worked on capacity building and training in rural Uttar Pradesh, Sukriti has rich field work experience. Previously, she has worked for children protection and women empowerment with Aangan Trust in Basti (Uttar Pradesh) and with Milaan in Lucknow. During her journey with Milaan, she extensively worked on menstrual hygiene management practices and breaking the taboos related to menstruation in our society. Sukriti completed her Master’s degree in Social Entrepreneurship from T.I.S.S. and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Media (Journalism) from Mumbai University.


Megha Milan

Lead – Partnerships & Fundraising

Megha Milan is a corporate engagement & partnership professional with over 19 years of experience. She has worked with both Multi-National and Indian companies in the corporate sector. As a Development Sector professional, using her cross-sectoral approach she specializes in driving partnerships, developing and executing engagement & outreach plans, managing multi-stakeholder relationships and bridging the gap between non-profit and for-profit worlds, and facilitating corporate alliances on high impact models that are solving socio-economic challenges of the country. She holds a BA (Hons) in Political Science from Lady Sri Ram College and is a Post Graduate in Marketing Management from Times School of Marketing.
